We provide a wide range of services for many U.S. Navy defense systems programs, including the Virginia Class fast-attack nuclear submarine program. Under the program, we help prepare program office budgets; test and install sophisticated electronics systems; and perform quality assurance, training and start-up services. URS also provided program management, engineering and logistics support for the U.S. Marine Corps expeditionary fighting vehicle program. In addition, we have supported the Marine Corps’ joint mine resistant ambush protected vehicle program from its inception, assisting in acquiring, fielding and sustaining a fleet of light trucks designed to deflect bomb blasts and small arms fire.
The Company also provides engineering and technical support for combat systems such as the Rolling Airframe Missile Program and a guided-missile weapon system being developed under a NATO program. As a prime contractor for the U.S. Army’s Rapid Response program office, we perform studies and analysis, systems modification and logistics support for government aircraft, tracked and wheeled vehicles, shelters and ground-support equipment. URS also provides operation and training services for the Army’s lightweight integrated telecommunications equipment, which is used for intelligence gathering and dissemination.
